Women in Leadership Convening with Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, London 2023

Challenge

Despite progress, women remain underrepresented in leadership across sectors such as law, media, economics, and health. Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation sought to strengthen networks and accelerate momentum for elevating women’s power.

Approach

Weave team members designed and facilitated the Foundation’s first in-person Women in Leadership convening, bringing together 100+ leaders for a 2.5-day program. Blending dialogue, storytelling, co-design, and community-building, the convening created a trusted space for authentic exchange and collective visioning.

Outcome

The convening established a trusted global network and surfaced new themes, opportunity spaces, and strategies to elevate women’s power and leadership. It generated both personal connections and collective commitments that continue to drive collaboration and advocacy beyond the event.
